He is also a member of the Commission for Ethical Application of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence (CARNET).

He served as the Chief Intelligence Analyst for the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia (exceptional promotion to the highest inspector rank of Chief Police Inspector, annual award from the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia), and held senior management positions in the Counterintelligence Agency (POA) and the Security and Intelligence Agency (SOA).

He has published 13 books in Croatia and abroad (Analytical Management, Economic Analysis of International Terrorism; Game Theory; Social Network Analysis, etc.), and is also the author of several chapters in books and over 70 professional and scientific papers in Croatia and abroad.

Robert has led and lectured at over 200 business and analytical workshops in Croatia and abroad (training security and intelligence officers from 11 countries); designed several specialized information systems; certified trainer in intelligence analysis techniques and intelligence analysis software; holds over 20 certificates; member of IALEIA (International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts) and BDVA (Big Data Value Association); executive editor of the International Journal of Digital Technology and Economy and editorial board member of the International Journal of Economics & Management Sciences.

He has presented at numerous domestic and international conferences and participated in and led several national and international analytical projects (Head of PIU & Key Expert: “CARDS Twinning project: Criminal Intelligence System, Phase 1&2” and Project Liaison Officer for the UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime) project “Strengthening of Capacities for Collection and Analysis of Criminal Intelligence in South-eastern Europe”).

He was a member of the National Council for Cybersecurity; member of the Scientific Council for Social Sciences; member of the National Council for Human Resource Development; member of the national team of Croatia – European Big Data Hackathon 2017, winning 1st place.

Additionally, Robert holds a second-degree black belt in traditional karate.

His recent books include “Analytical Management” (winner of two awards) and “Intelligence Analytics – Application in National and Corporate Security” (award).
