Finance officer at Adria Grupa doo Zagreb, one of the leading Facility Management companies in Croatia, with more than 1,200 employees. A wide range of activities in the provision of internal and external cleaning services, technical maintenance of buildings, horticulture, occupational safety, finishing works in construction, as well as disinfection, disinsection and pest control. Studied and graduated at the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Zagreb, and later continued to improve in the field of finance and controlling.

I have been following the work of Algebra for years and it has always been at the top of my wishes for education and training, as a recognized educational system with a large selection of quality programs. I was particularly interested in the Mini MBA Digital program, which I noticed on LinkedIn.

My main motivation was to get to know the field of digital technologies better, which, in combination with existing knowledge in the field of finance, accounting and controlling, could be applied in my work environment, thus contributing to the transformation and improvement of business. I have always been a curious and practical, optimistic and energetic person, eager to constantly improve and acquire new knowledge.

At the very beginning, having met the other participants, most of whom are from the IT sector, I thought that I, who am not an IT-evac, would follow the course content in step with them… However, from module to module, aware that I lack technical knowledge, I realized that IT experts alone are not enough for the digital transformation of business. An environment undergoing such a transformation also needs a number of other participants aware of the rapid changes in which we live and work. Especially now, in the age of 4. industrial revolution, and even with all the challenging circumstances of the covid pandemic, changes are even faster and more comprehensive, and constant adaptation, education and acceptance of new processes are also required.

I have nothing but praise for the Mini MBA Digital program! From the plan and program itself, all modules, to expert and approachable lecturers and mentors who presented us with their business and practical knowledge and experience. The combination of lectures, practical tasks and independent work is the ideal model of education for me.
